HANGAR DAY

2nd Saturday of every month

Next Hangar Day - 4/11/2026

Designed for youth ages 9–17, our program offers hands-on, immersive learning in aviation and STEAM. Students engage through interactive videos, VR simulations, gaming challenges, and team projects—all designed to spark curiosity and inspire future innovators. Participants also enjoy frequent discovery flights!

Private Pilot Ground School 2026

Classes began January 20, 2026 and meet Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00–8:00 PM. Sessions are held at our Palo Alto Airport hangar classroom and the Hayward Airport Terminal.

EPA Summer Parks Activation

May - August 2026

Experience fun, community-focused Saturdays in East Palo Alto as BAUE brings aviation-themed activities to local parks. Youth and families can explore hands-on STEM stations, meet our team, and learn how aviation connects to education, career pathways, and community empowerment. The program runs every Saturday from 10:00 - 1:00!

SFO Aviation Days

June 2026

Participants will enjoy an immersive visit to San Francisco International Airport, featuring the opportunity to board an airplane, meet professional flight crews, and learn how aviation and airport operations come together every day.
