Palo Alto Airport Day
Sept 29, 10am - 2pm
Join us for a day at Palo Alto Airport where youth and young adults can explore aviation careers. Participants will enjoy guided tours, meet industry professionals, and experience flight simulations.
Bay Area Urban Eagles is proud to host the STEM Center at our new home at Hangar 112!
Youth are given the opportunity to try out flight simulators, fly mini drones, learn aircraft design and flight controls, and participate in aviation games.
They can engage with aviation professionals including pilots and maintenance technicians, and air traffic controllers for insight into career opportunities.
It will also be the last opportunity to register for the 2024/25 Private Pilot Ground School.

What You’ll Learn

Course Objective
To prepare the participant for the FAA Private Pilot Written Exam
Comprehensive Training
** Taught live via Zoom (recordings provided)
** 6-month course, 1-2 lessons per week (lesson + bi-weekly Q&A session)
** Learn from industry professionals
** Certificate of Completion

Youth In Aviation STEM Based Education

Designed for youth aged 8 - 14, our offering ensures captivating engagement through a variety of exercises, experiments, and team activities using interactive video and VR gaming.
