How can I enroll my child in a program?

You can enroll your child by visiting our programs page and filling out the application form available under the 'Programs' section. 

Once we receive your application, someone will reach out to you with further information. 

What age group is eligible for the programs?

Our programs are designed for youth aged 10 to 18, providing tailored experiences based on age and skill level.

The program is typically broken into 2 different categories:  The Youth Aviation Exploration Program for middle school ages & Aviation Career Pathways for High Schoolers and Young Adults

Where are you located?

Our classroom is located at the Palo Alto Airport, 1901 Embarcadero Road #102, Palo Alto, CA 94303

What are your business hours?

We are available 10AM to 5PM M-T-W-F, 12PM - 8PM Th and 10AM-3PM Sat. 

What do you offer for Elementary and Middle School Youth?

We conduct a series of  NASA and FAA Aviation STEM Education programs designed for youth ages 6-14 that include exercises, experiments, contests, and team activities.

How do I sign up for Private Pilot Ground School?

To sign up for Private Pilot Ground School, visit our website and complete the registration form under the programs section.

What do I need to know about Private Pilot Ground School?

Our program includes lessons on aviation fundamentals, regulations, navigation, and safety, ensuring you're well-equipped for your aviation journey.   

Eventually, you don't need to know anything before you start because we cover everything from beginning to end. 

What's the timeline and typical financial expectation to get a private pilot license?

The process outside of our program, for any general student pilot typically takes 6-12 months, with costs ranging from $8,000 to $15,000, depending on individual progress and training specifics.

This heavily depends on the frequencies of the student flying and study patterns.

We offer two primary pathways designed to meet students where they are in their aviation journey:

Youth Aviation Exploration Program (Middle School)

Our middle school program is designed to spark curiosity and build foundational knowledge.

Students are introduced to:

Museum field trips 

Basic principles of flight

Aircraft systems and aviation terminology

Hands-on STEM activities

Flight simulator experiences

Career exposure to pilots, engineers, and aviation professionals

This program focuses on inspiration, confidence-building, and early exposure to aviation and aerospace careers.

Aviation Career Pathway Program (High School & Young Adults)


For high school students and young adults ready to take the next step, our Career Pathway Program provides structured, goal-oriented training. Participants engage in:

Private Pilot Ground School

FAA knowledge test preparation

Advanced simulator training

Discovery flights and airport immersion

Industry mentorship and career guidance

Exposure to aviation and aerospace career tracks

(Airport Operations, ATC, aircraft maintenace, engineering, and many others)
This program is designed for students who are serious about pursuing aviation careers and want a clear roadmap toward certification and industry opportunities.
